Each year we work in partnership with patients and carers to ensure the patient voice is heard and acted on.

Through project work, surveys, and presenting alongside the Patients Association at meetings, we offer patients and carers a range of ways to work with us.

The CVDPREVENT audit

The CVDPREVENT audit

We work with NHS Benchmarking on the national CVDPREVENT audit and have established a 35-patient panel to support the audit. The panel includes patients from all seven English NHS regions and brings the patient and carer perspectives to the audit. The goal of CVDPREVENT is to use data to understand how many patients are potentially undiagnosed, or under or over treated. The patient panel helps keep the audit patient-centred, and advises on information production. Read more
