The Patients Association 10-Year Health Plan organisation consultation submission The Government is currently gathering feedback and ideas to shape the upcoming 10-Year Health Plan. As part of this biggest ever conversation about the NHS, we have submitted an organisational response to the consultation. As a patient involvement charity, we don’t say anything without first speaking to patients, as we believe they should always be involved in the design and delivery of services. The priorities the Patients Association would like to see in the 10-Year Health plan, and why, are therefore directly informed by patients. We carried out a survey based on the consultation questions for organisations. We co-designed the survey with four patients from diverse backgrounds, which we then shared with our patient networks. The survey was live for two weeks, and we received 290 responses. We worked with two patient partners to engage underrepresented communities in completing the survey. We also offered patients the opportunity to fill the survey out through our helpline, to ensure patients who were digitally excluded could still participate. The key themes from this survey have been included in this response along with insights from our previous patient surveys, focus groups and our helpline data. >Download our report Manage Cookie Preferences
